Walter H. Barrett was born in Providence, Rhode Island in
the year 1933. He is a life-long resident of the state, with the exception of his time spent in the United States Air Force and active duty with the Air Force Reserve. He is a veteran of the Korean War and other military actions. Mr. Barrett has a heavy background in
engineering, science, solar engineering, automotive engineering & custom car
building, motion picture & video productions, and marketing. Mr. Barrett has several patents in the
alternate energy field and has a keen interest in the energy field. He taught solar energy classes and engineering at several schools and colleges during the energy crisis of the mid to late nineteen seventies. He has an international reputation in the solar energy field. Mr. Barrett has a great deal of experience establishing dealer networks and training sales engineers,
etc. Before his retirement, he was the president of Suntree Solar Corporation and
chairmen of the board of Myriad corporation. Mr. Barrett now resides in Lincoln, Rhode Island with his wife and has five grown children. |

Milan Shah is a multifaceted
personality. Coming from small town of sabarkantha district of Gujarat,
Himmatnagar Milan C. Shah had his childhood in different places. After
completing schooling, graduated from St.Xavier's collage at Manchester of
India, Ahmedabad.He got B.Sc. with
chemistry. But he was to do some thing different in the future. He found
the importance of management in
professional life which led
him to successfully accomplish a Degree Course in Hotel management at
Ahmedabad. He than pursued import- Export Management at Ahmedabad.
Having gathered sufficient theoretical
knowledge, he
was now ready to meet the challenges of professional career on practical
front.
He began with being Front Office Manager in 1990 in a star Hotel of
Ahmedabad namely Hotel Klassic Gold. It is said that 'Rolling stone
gathers no moss" but this young, enthusiastic, intelligent person
believed that "Rolling stone definitely gets polished..." With
this belief in mind he shifted to Hotel Siddhart place of Ahmedabad
in1991only to join Hotel Kanak in 1992.
Having experience during this period he decided to shift to Vadodara
(Baroda). Though his father had a Wholesale business he decided to start
his own independent business. This conceived Milan Sales Agency, a firm
dealing in bearings and other industrial items at GIDC. He was appointed
the Authorised Dealer of ASIAN BEARING LTD. soon. He managed the business
so professionally that from turnover increased 25 folds from 1994 to2002,
a span of just 9 years with such competitive items.
This business was good enough for his livelihood but
not enough for his self- satisfaction. His creative soul was eagerly
thinking some thing different. His mind and to always busy thinking in
different creative directions. He to utilise his creative mind and to take
the advantage of IT fever as well started Mcmilan Infotech (along with his
existing business) in 2000 to provide Web Designing and hosting services. Here he utilised his skills effectively to design and develop

He is a different personality from his childhood. He
is a man of lateral thinking, distinct thinking. This is evident from the
fact he became Yuva(Young) Congress Pramukh(president) in his town when he was just studying in 12th slandered. His contribution
as the Yuva Congress Pramukh are also noteworthy. He was fond of meeting
people especially celebrities and was prepared to do anything to meet
them. He used to visit Mumbai very frequently
and create opportunities to meet such people . Few of the famous actors
and actresses are Dilip Kumar, RajKumar, Jitendra, shridevi, Sunny
Deol,Pooja Bedi,Rhuhul Roy etc. Whom he met those day. He also grabbed
opportunity to escort Everest Fame Edmond Hillary during his visit to
Ahmedabad in an International Kite Festival in 1989.Beside all these his
mind was always thinking to do special things. He made a small car from
LUNA Moped in 1995.But This was not enough.. The best was yet to come. One
fine day while looking an Auto Show on the television a crazy thought
came in to his mind. Why can't we have a small car, fuel
efficient car and yet a cheep car? And his artistic mind started running
after this idea. He started his work on this project in April 2002.
Instead of reinventing the automobile engine, he
straightaway thought of utilizing some thing existing. He selected the
Kinetic scooter engine and started the design of chassis. Made the chassis
as per design and fitted the engine on it to test the raw structure thoroughly
for balancing, turning, climbing, ground clearance etc.
After satisfactory testing completion he concentrated
on the design of body of the car that should look elegant and yet should
be technically strong. He built the body 2-3 times to arrive at the final
design of the current model. He took first test ride only on 30.06.2002 of
his fully finished newly invented car to be named later as Scoot Car. He
then kept on taking various trial of his invention on the road attracting
attention of the people.
Mr. Walter H. Barrett
